Marty’s Marty For President, JGivens’s Fly Exam, Eshon Burgundy’s The Fear of God, Tragic Hero’s My Own Worst Enemy, Reconcile’s Catchin’ Bodies, Ruslan’s Do For One.

Despite that impressive resume, one of Christian hip-hop’s most sought-after featured artists still made the most buzz this year from his solo music. As fans patiently awaited his sophomore album on Kings Dream Entertainment in July, the label released his “Get a Bar of Tha Side” video, which has collected over 120,000 views on YouTube and was spotlighted on Instagram’s official music account. His singles, “Elementary Trill” and “2004,” were also celebrated, creating immense expectations for Soul Rebel.
Many listeners have called Soul Rebel the top Christian hip-hop album of 2015. The independent release debuted at No. 10 on Billboard’s rap charts.
