I voted for JGivens as Best Artist of 2015

One of Christian hip-hop fans’s favorite featured artists released in September what many have called the best album of 2015, Fly Exam.

The rollout for the lyricist’s Humble Beast debut LP couldn’t have built much more anticipation.

The music video for his lead single, Ignorantro, was not only high quality, but his stare at the end also inspired many a meme maker. Next, his video for “Super Lowkey” creatively caught viewers off guard who thought they were just looking at a photograph of JGivens. His third and final Fly Exam music video continued to surprise, as Humble Beast released his “10, 2 Get In” visual as a 360° music video.

The three videos have combined for over 350,000 views on YouTube.

And, of course, he shined on several features verses, including on John Givez’s Soul Rebel, Eshon Burgundy’s The Fear of God and Sean Simmonds’s Borne IDentity.
