Milwaukee-based artist Cory Cifax, an artist featured on Brother 3’s latest EP, released a new free single, “Winners.”
“This song came about because I was watching my friends turn from the faith, watching the promotion of sin in our society, and the biggest inspiration was a man named Saeed Abedeni.” Cory Cifax said. “For a very long time I promoted his cause both financially and by word of mouth. Saeed went to Iran and opened over 100 house churches in this hostile environment. As a result he was snatched from his children and wife, tortured and denied medical care. His letter to his wife though there were very hard descriptions of his reality, they showed his hope never faded. It showed me regardless of what they do to us we’ve already won. After being sentenced to 8 years Saeed has been released after three years of harsh imprisonment adding to this narrative of “Winners” in Christ!”
