Anytime Jackie Hill Perry posts something musical, we are left feening for something more. Well, yesterday she dropped a little verse over the “Mr. Morale” beat from Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. Her track is called “A Rap (All The Smoke).” In it, she raps some about the recent shootings in Buffalo before diving into CRT, reparations, and buying back her “granny’s house.” She also says “one verse a week is my diet” so maybe there’s more coming?
