MC Jin starts petition for ‘Fast and Furious’ to bring him back

MC Jin wants back in Fast and Furious. This week, the man who played Jimmy the mechanic in 2 Fast 2 Furious started a petition for himself to be included in Furious 8, which is scheduled to be released on April 14, 2017.

“Some may say this is a silly or an unorthodox method of trying to get casted for a film,” Jin said in the petition. “As I look back on my life journey so far, all of the highlights and achievements have been a direct result of what others may have deemed silly and/or unorthodox. As the saying goes, if it ain’t broke…”

On its second day of existence, the petition has over 1,200 signatures. Jin is aiming for 100,000.

Jin has been in numerous movies since his acting debut alongside Paul Walker and Ludacris. Between 2008 and 2014, he performed in films called Nisei Dialect, Split Second Murders, Gallants, Young Bruce Lee, Turning Point 2, The Man with the Iron Fists and Revenge of the Green Dragons.
