Video: Alex Medina shares heart about injustice and how church should respond in panel discussion

Few in Christian hip hop have been as vocal about the Mike Brown and Eric Garner tragedies on social media as Alex Medina, creative director and producer for Reach Records.

Recently at The Gospel Coalition’s national conference in Orlando, Medina sat on a panel titled “Seeking Justice and Mercy from Ferguson to New York,” in which he expounded on how Christians should react to injustice — unrestrained by 140 characters. He was joined in the discussion by Cecil Smith, Bethany Jenkins, K. Edward Copeland and Robert Lang.

Medina’s thoughts are especially relevant in light of the death of Freddie Gray and the riots in Baltimore that followed.
