Five Teen Rappers to Watch

Hip hop used to be a game for the young.

Nas released his classic album Illmatic when he was 20. Trip Lee signed with Reach Records a few days after he graduated high school.

Now, though, it is common to start a rap career later in life. Many rappers in Christian hip hop now balance their music with having a family and the responsibilities of a grown man. However, there is a wave of new rappers showing that the youth still have power.

There are several hip-hop artists under the age of 20 who Rapzilla thinks readers should watch out for. These teenagers are leaders who are helping listeners find a sense of belonging. Despite their young age, they have a tremendous sense of purpose and are already doing great work to point people to Christ.
