A grand jury chose not to indict Ferguson cop Darren Wilson for the Aug. 9 killing of Michael Brown, announced a St. Louis County prosecuting attorney on Monday night.
Many Christian hip-hop artists reacted to the verdict on social media, while those in St. Louis reacted on the streets of Ferguson, attempting to keep as much peace as possible in the face of a riot.

In this moment of anger & hurt Jesus sympothizes with my grief and calls me to love D. Wilson even as I think he should've been indicted.

Ferguson isn't an opportunity to observe a riot. Ferguson gives us an opportunity to observe our broken relationships. #Ferguson

Tragic scene in #Ferguson. I go to sleep sad, but hopeful. Because even though this world is messed up, I know how the story ends
