Beleaf, of Kings Dream Entertainment released the first video from his newest project Red Pills + Black Sugar Monday. ‘Take No Days Off’ was not only the first song to receive a video as a part of Beleaf’s first full-length solo project; it was the first single also to be released.
Videographers Kelsey Brewer and George Cole were named as the main contributors in the making of the video.
The ‘Take No Days Off’ video was announced as released by Beleaf on instagram, while other well-known Christian hip-hop artists joined in to voice their support. Among those who reposted and shared a short clip from the video was Andy Mineo of Reach Records, Dre Murray of the Collision Records collective We Live As Kings and Ruslan, who is apart of the Kings Dream collective Dream Junkies alongside Beleaf.
Red Pills + Black Sugar climbed as high as number five on the iTunes hip-hop/rap charts and number 11 on the Billboard Gospel charts within its first week of release. Beleaf’s newest project follows the highly acclaimed releases of Dream Junkie’s ‘NREM Edition’ and “Theo’s Gift’, Beleaf’s free mixtape released one year ago.
