Billboard Gospel Albums chart: Lecrae recaptures #1 spot

Lecrae jumps back into the #1 spot this week with “Gravity” and is #135 on Billboard 200. Tamela Mann is #2 with “Best Days,” and Israel & New Breed climbs to #3 with “Jesus at the Center.” “Kingdom Hits” debuts at #4 and is #39 on Christian Albums. Bishop Paul S. Morton takes the #5 spot with “Best Days Yet.” The rankings were announced on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

Other debuts include Thi’sl at #17 with “Free From the Trap,” (#38 on Heatseekers Albums) and S.O. with “So It Continues” at #36. Anthony Brown & group TherAPy leaps to #15 with their self-titled album and Earnest Pugh is #20 with “Christmas with Earnest Pugh and Friends.” Jonathan McReynolds slips to #18 with “Life Music” and Larry Callahan & Selected of God drops to #26 with “The Evolution II.” Re-entering the chart is Leandria Johnson with “The Evolution of Lenndria Johnson” at #49.
