Rapzilla.com’s 11 Freshmen of 2011 – Eshon Burgundy

Eshon Burgundy – follow Eshon @burgaking
This dude is a mixtape beast. Eshon has dropped 6 mixtapes and an EP to date. Eshon was signed to DJ Jazzy Jeff’s label prior to getting saved and was featured on a track on DJ Jazzy Jeff’s album ‘The Return of the Magnificent’. Its been a very long time since we’ve seen an emcee who flows so steady and makes it seem so effortless. How else could you explain someone doing a song made of 1 verse 200 straight bars long, equating to a 10 minute rap song with only verse and you want to listen to it again and again? Burgandy did it on his recent track “Evidence of Things Not Seen” from the ‘Cleaning Out My Closet’ mixtape and he did it well. His slick wit, aggressive Philly flow and passion for God make for a great blend for the ears and is sure to make 2011 a good year for your iPod, Android device, mp3 player, phonograph or whatever it is you use to listen to music. His Twitter account has been littered with references to him recording new music as we speak so keep your anticipation levels HIGH.
