Sho Baraka Enters Billboard’s Gospel Chart At #3

After seeing brief Billboard success with ‘Turn My Life Up’ in 2008 (debuting at #43, and then dropping off the 2nd week), Sho Baraka and Reach Records have shown growth in sales and staying power. Sho Baraka’s new album ‘Lions & Liars’ debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Gospel Chart, #15 on Billboard’s Rap Chart, as well as #10 on Billboard’s Christian Chart last week.

To top it off the album was 149 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart as well.

The Christian Hip Hop community pulled together like we have never seen before, and rallied each other on to purchase this album with the goal of getting Sho Baraka’s ‘Lions & Liars’ and Rhema Soul’s ‘Fingerprints’ as high on the iTunes Hip Hop Charts as possible. Unity was put into action and we saw what it can do.
