Mr. Del’s Thrilla CD is nominated in CATEGORY 21 FOR RAP/HIP HOP ALBUM OF THE YEAR. Mr. Del’s THRILLA CD, released June 30, 2009 debuted at #2 on the Christian R&B/Hip Hop Chart, and has been dubbed his deepest and most musically diverse project to date. THRILLA is an acronym for THE REAL ANNOINTING. On this album, Mr. Del allows people to see more of his personal life. “THRILLA shows more of a deeper, transparent side of me,” he agrees. THRILLA allows the listener to submerge into the heart of an artist who has overcome weakness and is now refined and stronger through Christ.

Mali Music captured a nomination in CATEGORY 17, URBAN RECORDED SONG OF THE YEAR “AVAYLABLE”. “Avaylable” started out as the acoustic YouTube smash hit video and is now being played on Gospel and Christian radio stations across the county. Mali Music’s national debut CD release is being hailed as a landmark release in Christian music. The 2econd Coming, released in partnership with Sound Walk Music Group on July 14, 2009 debuted at #15 Billboard Current Gospel Chart and presents infinite boundaries throughout Contemporary Christian music. His bold, unique sound and gift for musical storytelling has captivated audiences, drawing them in to a lyrical adventure and spiritual revival. The 2econd Coming also includes the bold and unrelenting fan favorite “I Hate You”, a lyrically clever, in-your-face illustration of the lies and darkness of evil and the rebuke and triumph we have over it.
