Messenja to Release “Take The City”, January 2009

“Take The City”, is the long awaited sophomore album from Messenja. The album is set to release with Canton Jones new record label “Cajo Records” on January 27 2009. Messenja, songwriter and producer, brings a message of hope, motivation and inspiration to God’s people through Hip Hop.

Messenja, a recipient of a 2000 Gospel Choice Award and a 2002 Holy Hip Hop Award, has opened up for some of the biggest names in the industry. The list includes Kirk Franklin, Trin-I-tee 5:7, Ludacris, Lil John, Busta Rhymes, and more; which shows his versatility in breaking into the secular arena with a Godly message.

Called out of darkness, Messenja is equipped with gifts from God to reach this generation.

Take The City is a high energy album filled with a message of hope and faith guaranteed to challenge a society and culture to draw closer to God. The album titled single, Take The City, is a prophetic mandate for the “Joshua” generation to take over territory for the Kingdom of God.
