DC Talk originally released one of the biggest Christian singles ever, known as "Jesus Freak." Many of you may know that Michael Tait, formerly of DC Talk and Tait, is now the front man for the band Newsboys. Todd Collins, co-founder of Beatmart Recordings, and of DC Talk, The Katinas, Audio Adrenaline, etc. fame, sent Rapzilla some footage he took with his phone in the studio with Newsboys and KJ-52. When we listened to Sho Baraka's album 'Lions & Liars', one of our favorite hooks on the album was on the song "Word", featuring ... well, nobody knew. We couldn't find the answer, and we even posed it as a trivia question to you. The only answer we got was from an inside source in the UK. So I tracked down this person, and gave compliments, but she shied away from them and played it off as a fluke. She isn't a known artist, but she is a songwriter and rapper. She runs a the label Preacha Boy Music (Jahaziel, Etizz, New Direction Crew, GP), among other things. We introduce to you, Charisse Beaumont.
