Countless fans of the musical, comedy movie “Pitch Perfect” have made covers for the viral sensation “Cups,” but few besides Christian rapper B-Doe have earned shout outs from Emmy Award-nominated actress Elizabeth Banks and Cosmopolitan.
This week, the women’s magazine pitched “Pitch Perfect 2,” which drops on May 15, to include B-Doe’s rare rap remix of “Cups” in the movie. Singer Shelby Blondell, who like B-Doe is based in Maryland, featured on the song, which the “Pitch Perfect” actress saluted on Twitter Thursday.
B-Doe dropped his latest album Crescendo last summer. Buy it on iTunes or Amazon.
