PHILADELPHIA, PA, Oct. 20-- It’s Lamp Mode’s lyrical theologian, Stephen the Levite, like you’ve never heard him before. Sonically, the Cali-bred, Philly resident’s new album, Can I Be Honest?—slated for a Nov. 18 release—is a veritable feast for listeners’ ears.

The public will get its first taste of what he deems his most evolved, honest and musically mature work, on Tuesday, Oct. 21, through an exclusive Rapzilla.com leak and free download of the first official single, “Frienemies” ft. JGivens and Tragic Hero. Add a comment

Early statistics are showing Lecrae's new album Anomaly selling 88,299 units in the first week - well ahead of Maroon 5 (78,650 units) and Jhene Aiko (71,230 units). These numbers are early and are generally not 100% accurate and tend to be a little low. We'll report on Anomaly's official Billboard position later this week, however he could potentially hit 100,000 sales in the first week!

You would hardly know it from the indie-sized shoot, but Lecrae is a superstar -- in Christian music, at least. His last album, Gravity, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, sold nearly 300,000 copies (according to Nielsen SoundScan) and won a Grammy for best gospel album in January. He also counts professional athletes -- dozens of them, from Tim Tebow to Andrew McCutchen -- among his fans. Add a comment
