It appears that doors continue to open up for New Orleans’ most inspirational rapper. After officially signing with RCA Inspiration

This week’s album sales charts will prominently feature hip hop acts, including the most prominent Christian Hip Hop name. Lecrae has unofficially cracked Top 200 charts at #21 with the non-DJ version of 'Church Clothes 2' which was released last Thursday. After
120,000 downloads of the DJ Don Cannon-hosted version from Datpiff, Lecrae sold over 15,000 album units digitally on iTunes. This number would be impressive for a regular album release with stellar marketing but is especially remarkable considering the presence of a free download. The sequel to last year’s Church Clothes mixtape joins Eminem’s 'Marshall Mathers 2' LP and Drake’s 'Nothing Was The Same' as the top hip hop releases of this week. Congrats to Lecrae for his continued success on the charts!
