Veteran artist and Christian Hip Hop entrepreneur Da’ T.R.U.T.H. received good news from the Billboard Charts recently. His 7th studio album Heartbeat debuted at #2 on the Billboard Gospel sales charts with 4,489 albums sold – a strong showing for the first official release from his recently-formed Mix Bag Entertainment label.
The album featured prominent names in the Christian Hip Hop, CCM and Gospel genres, including Lecrae, Tedashii, Chris August, Isaac Caree and James Fortune. Heartbeat also debuted high on the Billboard Rap Chart (#8) and overall Christian Chart (#7), and #84 on the Billboard 200.
