Leslie Grace charts #1 on Billboard’s Tropical Chart with Day 1 single co-written & co-produced by Rey King

Latina superstar Leslie Grace recently charted #1 on the Billboard Tropical Charts for her single “Day 1”. Her first single “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” made her the youngest female singer (17 Years Old) to reach number 1 on Billboard’s Latin Radio Airplay. “Day 1” is the second Leslie Grace song that has hit the Billboard charts. Also she is currently up for a Billboard Latin Music Award “Songs Artist of The Year, Female” with heavy hitters like Jennifer Lopez, Jenni Rivera, and Shakira. The Billboard Latin Music awards air April 25th on the Telemundo Network. “Day 1” charting at number 1 is another milestone in the midst of many for the young songstress.

An interesting fact that some don’t know is that Leslie’s second hit was co-written/co-produced by an artist within Christian Hip-Hop, Rey King. You may remember his ‘Young God’ project, his ‘Black Friday’ mixtape, production (Rhema Soul ‘Red’, Social Club ‘Misfits’, Cheno Lyfe ‘Home’, Rey Cruz ‘Innovacion’) and his participation in the Rapzilla Beat Battle at Flavor Fest. Rey King has been friends with Grace before she signed to GRAMMY Award winning producer Sergio George’s Top Stop Music (Prince Royce, Tito Nieves, 5SOLZ, Johnathan Moly, Luis Enriquo and Toby Love). Leslie Grace and Rey King even created the intro for Christian Hip-Hop radio show FNFLive with Jblaze before she made history with “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow”. Now Rey is officially a Billboard charting songwriter and producer for his contribution to “Day 1”.

Congratulations to Leslie Grace and Rey King for the success of “Day 1”. Rey King’s label IAMYG is currently gearing up to release the ‘LoveHate’ EP and Colin Ansby’s ‘Rated E For Everyone’ soon. Leslie Grace is scheduled to release her debut album in May.
