Lecrae featured on The Nevels Sisters album ‘It’s My Time’

Lecrae and Reach Records have done it again. The Nevels Sisters, a black gospel group that has been around roughly 20 years, that are distributed by the same distributor (Central South Distribution) have teamed up with Lecrae and PK on their new album ‘It’s My Time’.

This looks to be a mutually beneficial partnering, first for The Nevels Sisters because they are doing a re-imaging and diversifying their sound. By adding Lecrae they have achieved that along with an introduction into a new market, and some hopeful projections for sales with him on the project. For Lecrae and Reach Records this is a great move as they have major support in Christian Hip Hop, and have been impacting the CCM side with a recent feature with Michael Tait and Blanca Callahan on the soundtrack for The Story. Lecrae also has recently impacted the secular mainstream Hip Hop market with his appearance on the BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher, and his feature on Statik Selektah’s album. The Nevels Sisters album ‘It’s My Time’ releases November 1st.
