John John Da Don Adds Loso to BullPen Battle League After Strong Tryout

The BullPen Battle League held tryouts on February 21, and the winner of the event was Christian emcee Loso.

“I won best battler of the night. Categories (Wordplay, crowd control, image, Delivery, and performance)! $500 cash prize,” wrote Loso on Facebook. “Thank you to everyone for all the support! Much appreciated! Oh…. And I clinched a spot on their big card in April!”

According to an Instagram post, the battlers were judged from 1–10 on the 5 categories Loso mentioned. Amazingly, he almost received a perfect score, earning himself a 48. The number two ranked emcee had a 45.

Not only did he win the event, but he also earned himself a spot on the BullPen Battle League roster.

Loso also received praise from the league’s owner and founder, well-known and top ranked battle rap star John John Da Don.

Loso is also getting ready to release his EP, Valley of Vision, which was created out of a trial period in his life.

“The last year and a half, [I] went through a huge trial in my life, in which everything was flipped,” Loso said to Rapzilla in a previous interview. “I had just came off of winning the Rapzilla 16 Bar Challenge. I had did a little deal with CTF Records, with Serge and Oscar Urbina. I was rolling with KB and HGA, so there was a lot going on in my life that was actually moving me into the direction of full-time ministry. Then something huge happened in my life, and so, when that happened, everything got flipped upside down.”
