Ki’Shon Furlow returns to rap battle ring after garnering buzz with music

The last time that Rapzilla featured a Ki’Shon Furlow rap battle, most of Christian hip hop knew him as a battle rapper.

This round against Haynes, Furlow returned to the DFW battle league as one of the most hyped, on-the-rise Christian rappers of the past four months.

His October mixtape, Keep An Open Mind, was one of the most celebrated free projects of 2015. The music video for its lead single, “Crazy,” has over 26,000 views on YouTube, and his video for “Hood Scholar” is getting there. Alex Faith also featured him on “Roof,” a song from the physical version of Faith’s album Bloodlines.

Furlow quickly earned a spot among Rapzilla’s Freshman 2016 class. Watch his latest battle below.
