Swoope, 1/4th of the Collision Records collective We Live As Kings (WLAK), released his newest project entitled Sinema today. Now Swoope’s 3rd full length solo project, Sinema has reached the number 1 spot on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart. This is not however the first appearance Sinema has made on the fore mentioned chart. Pre-orders for Swoope’s newest album lifted the project all the way to number 4 on the very same chart, even before it was available for download.
Sinema, at number 1, is sitting above releases from mainstream acts such as Iggy Azaelea, Wiz Khalifa, and G-Eazy.
Sinema has not only reached the top spot within it’s own genre, but has climbed the iTunes top albums chart. Swoope is currently sitting at #7 on the previously mentioned chart. His company within the most downloaded albums on iTunes includes Andy Grammer, Spoon, and the soundtrack to Marvel’s latest release, Guardians Of The Galaxy.
To top it off for Collision Records and Swoope, they are also sitting at the top of the Amazon Music Hip Hop/Rap charts.
Veteran artist, Manafest released his new album The Moment via Tooth and Nail Records. Manafest peaked at #2 on the Christian & Gospel charts on iTunes just behind the new offering by Family Force 5. If you want to hear what Manafest’s new project sounds like or get familiar with him for the first time, you can listen to The Moment in it’s entirety on Rapzilla.
Last but not least, newcomer for most, the Michigan rapper, songwriter, and singer Nate “NF” Feuerstein peaked at #8 with his self titled EP, NF. Keep an eye on NF. This guy is going places, and fast.
