The Blood, Sweat, Tears & Prayers free project will officially be released as a free download on October 2, 2012. This free project by Strght & Nrrw is a collaborative effort by a range of CHH artists to create a New York street style project with dope beats and real verses.
According to Strght & Nrrw owner, Jay Harris, the concept of this Blood, Sweat, Tears and Prayers project is about weighing what we do versus what we are called to do, “It’s real out here right now,” he says, “kids are in and out of jail and people are dying right in front our eyes. Faith without works is dead, that’s where the blood, sweat and tears come from, but when you look at what needs to be done you can’t just say blood, sweat and tears without prayers. You put the prayers on it and you have serious power. It’s about the redemption process. He bled for us first. He put in sweat for us first. He cried and interceded for us first. So what do you think He wants us to do?”
