Rapzilla.com’s 12 Freshman of 2012 – Frontline Movement

Much like their music, Frontline Movement created a huge ruckus in the Christian Hip Hop scene last year. They offer the crunk/party/anthem style of music that’s popular within the secular industry today, but by being themselves, which is rare. The group which at first consisted of Corey Paul, Reconcile, and F.O.E. dropped the hit single “U Rydin” in early 2011, and from then on it seemed like there was no stopping the widespread of this group’s buzz. Shortly after their highlight performance during SXSW weekend in Austin, Tx, and dropping the music video for “U Rydin” (which was featured on WorldStarHipHop), the group started doing concerts all over the U.S., and even landed a spot on Cross Movement Records’ “Generation Tour” which was later cancelled.

After F.O.E. leaving the group, both remaining members releasing solo material, and the addition of Hilary Pradia, the trio has started this year off strong with release of the radio ready single “Go Girl”, and U Rydin 2.0, “Frontline Anthem”.

There have been rumors of a Frontline Movement album in the works, so stay tuned to Rapzilla for more info on that. Lastly, Thi’sl’s new label Full Ride Music Group has just announced the addition of Reconcile to their roster, to read the press release click here.
