Krosswerdz’s BRB Explains Differences Between Rap in America & Australia

BRB relocated from New Jersey, U.S. to Australia and founded the urban ministry Krosswerdz.

“We use hip-hop and elements of hip-hop to reach those who are on the fringe. They may now have faith and they ask, ‘Now what?’ because church is super scary,” said BRB.

The ministry has three branches. Krosswerdz is more of the groundwork ministry. KWA has the graphic and street artists, and KWR houses the emcees and producers.

The Krosswerdz ministry has spread to Korea and Asia.

“It’s all about skills and character,” he said.

BRB then gave a big breakdown of the differences between American and Australian hip-hop. He even coined a new term, “whackcent” (whack accent).
