D.A. Horton’s most memorable moment as a rapper

Newer Christian hip-hop fans may not know that church planter and former ReachLife Executive Director D.A. Horton was also known as rapper Azriel.

After discussing why “it’s time for Christian hip hop to grow up” at Flavor Fest 2015, Horton reminisced about his earlier days as an artist and shared his most memorable moment. Unsurprisingly, it was ministry-related.

Watch this segment of his interview below.

Horton, who is also an author, previewed his next book, Bound to Be Free, as well. The book is expected to be published in the spring of 2016, according to his official website.

He had previously published books titled G.O.S.P.E.L. and DNA: Foundations of the Faith in 2012 and 2013, respectively.
