How Benjah got hip-hop legend Krayzie Bone on his new album ‘Motives’

Benjah’s new album Motives, which released today, features numerous familiar names to Christian hip hop — Derek Minor, Thi’sl, Reconcile and PyRexx — and one hip-hop legend.

“Climbing,” track No. 7 of Motives features Krayzie Bone, who’s won two Grammy Awards in his career for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group — in 1997 with his famed collective Bone Thugs-n-Harmony for “Tha Crossroads” and in 2007 with Chamillionaire for “Ridin’.”

Benjah told Rapzilla the story behind the collab in an interview at Flavor Fest 2015.
