Day 3 Legacy Conference recap

Legacy Fest 2015 wrapped up yesterday evening, leaving behind it loads of good memories and fun times for those who attended the festival as well as the preceding conference.

With the intention of reaching out to the surrounding community, Legacy Fest is a day full of food, games and music; all of which are free of charge. Guests had the opportunity to participate in a three-on-three basketball tournament, play a unique variety of soccer that involved wearing a large plastic bubble and attend concerts from some of the most prominent names in Christian hip hop.

For those who were unable to attend, here some of the highlights of all the shows that took place on the Rapzilla.com stage.

JGivens got the audience moving by performing the new single “Igorantro” off his upcoming album, as well as mixing in a bit of Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” into his set. As one of the first artists to perform, the throwback disco tune warmed up the crowd for what was to come.

During the Dream Junkies set, John Givez treated the crowd to a performance of his newest single “Elementary Trill”, also announcing that there will be a stop in Chicago for his upcoming tour to promote his upcoming album, Soul Rebel.

Bizzle also performed a good amount of unheard music from a new album that he has been working on but most know little about. At the end of his set, he invited a young couple with matching God Over Money shirts on stage to speak their heart on his music, which surprisingly turned into a marriage proposal in which the young lady said yes.

S.O. performed one more new song, “London Dream,” off his upcoming album So It Ends, as well as performing the track he revealed the night before at the Wade-O Mix Show. Fellow UK artist Serene and Lamp Mode president Json joined him once again in his performance of “The Crew,” which promises to be one of the most celebrated tracks on the future project.

Finally, Thi’sl ended the day by performing some music from his highly anticipated mixtape, including the feel good track “It’s All Good,” which is highly influenced by The Notorious B.I.G.’s hit song “Juicy.”

It had been three days of non-stop action for attendees of the Legacy Conference and Legacy Fest. Next year, the conference will be celebrating its 10th year.
