Summer is just about a month away, and not many artists have announced that they will release music during the season. Many are in the studio, though, and aiming to do so.
This month, Rapzilla ran down who's next to release new music on Christian hip-hop's top labels. Below is a list of top unsigned artists who plan to drop new projects this summer.
Sho BarakaSho Baraka released his first music in a while this April. He and musician James Portier teamed up for the song "Insecure (Maybe)," which Sho told Rapzilla could be followed by an entire album this summer.
His previous effort, Talented 10th, lived up to the sky-high hype. If Sho's next does the same, it will be in the album-of-the-year conversation.

This will be the first project that the St. Louis rapper has released since the death of Michael Brown and the Ferguson, Missouri riots. The tragedy surrounding Trayvon Martin inspired Thi'sl's latest album, Fallen King. His mixtape is sure to also feature weighty content.
