At age 14, Alex “Tre” Edwards is an unsigned music artist with a great, new sound. Born into a family of music, Alex “Tre” Edwards has been making music his whole life. Tre records in his living room right now and mixes the music all by himself. He has designed his website, album covers, facebook page, and twitter. Recently joining the Christian hip hop music scene in 2011, he wants to make a change in music to glorify God. “I have noticed that there isn’t a truly young artist in the Christian hip hop business. There isn’t anyone to connect to the kids and help them to know God. That is what I want to do. I want to be a new artist that is able to connect to all ages and teach the gospel through music,” Tre says. He has been born with a talent to write, rap, sing, design, create, and produce. He continues to deliver new music to the world and his fan base is growing larger every day. His inspirations go from Lecrae, Andy Mineo, Swoope, Trip Lee, KB, and Flame to Mac Miller, XV, Chiddy Bang, Drake, and B.o.B. Tre has been featured on NewH2O.com with his debut single in the Christian rap world, Awesome. Tre loves Christ and wants to continue making music for Him because it is his passion. He believes that Christ has put him on this earth to do this for His kingdom. Right now, Alex “Tre” Edwards resides in Winston-Salem, NC.
