Creative community offers grants to female Christian artists

Launching today is Young Lady (YXL), a creative brand that will offer grants to female Christian artists, hoping to provide a boost for their careers.

YoungxLady.com, founded by Chicago-based singer Catalina Bellizzi, began selling T-shirts today to fund these grants, which women can apply for to pay for studio time, photo shoots, pressing albums or other necessities to complete their music projects. The shirts, which read “I support girls that rap,” are $25 and will be available to pre-order until Feb. 25. All proceeds will go toward grants.

If fans notice hashtags for #isupportgirlsthatrap and #younglady or similar images to the following photo floating around social media, this is why.
