Fast 5 Fridays Q & A: knee-He-Low – No Sleep ft. FVMELESS and Zhedd

knee-He-low is our next installment of Fast 5 Fridays. Every Friday we’ll ask 5 fast questions to artists who are dropping music. The emcee released his track “No Sleep” ft. FVMELESS and Zhedd.

1. What is the general message behind this song?

The hook kind of explains it. “I’ve been workin’ till the sun up, have that light beam on me” it’s metaphorically speaking about working in the likeness of Jesus, and He sees that. People think there isn’t a reward but the reward itself magnifies the kingdom.

2. How did you get inspired to create it?

In general, how I get inspired in my writing process comes from how I feel when I hear the beat. Ideas/concepts just come from nothing and I go off from those ideas/concepts.

3. Who produced the song and how’d the production come about?

The rookie and professional himself produced it and the funny story between him and I is that when he first started producing he came to me for constructive criticism and tips. Real heart for Christ and overall good guy!

4. Is this track part of an overall project or a standalone single? What can we expect this song to be the start of?

This song is just a single to let people understand who I am as an artist. I want people to know my sound and where my heart is with every track.

5. Why should people listen to this song or your music in general?

I’m not here for clout or anything. Those who have ears let them hear. I’m for the people because Jesus was for the people. I’m a very conscious artist and behind every track, people will visualize what I talk about on every song.
