A. Ward is coming out the gate in 2018 like a dove outta Heaven! Within the first 60 days of the year, the Kansas City emcee will be battling in four different events, for four different leagues in four different countries.
The YTG/Four Horsemen emcee will be battling in Australia, Canada, England, and the United States, traveling the world like a character from Street Fighter 2 taking on several up and coming contenders. However, his upcoming battle in Canada will most certainly be a career milestone.
King of the Dot’s Gully vs Ganik 2, which takes place February 3rd in Toronto, Canada will see Mr. Rebuttal Game Crazy in the main event against the veteran Cortez. This will be the first time A. Ward will be headlining a KOTD event and the second time he’s been on Team Gully, now serving as team captain. Over the past two years, Ward has been proving he’s top tier material while making the case for the KOTD championship chain. Cortez, who was the last contender for the chain, is most definitely one not to be slept on as he has been known to show up when everyone least expects it. This battle still may be a body, as Cortez’s pen is nowhere near Ward’s.
The next 60 days will be one to watch for as A. Ward attempts to bring home W’s in all four battles.
