‘VeggieTales in the City’ Returns to Netflix with an All-New Season 2

Seeing a bit too much green on your screen? No need to rub your eyes, this is still Rapzilla.com, but we are taking a small break from our regularly scheduled program to say, “Well, we got a show for you!”

VeggieTales is back with season two of their new series “VeggieTales in the City” on Netflix. So all your favorite talking broccoli, celery, cucumbers, and tomatoes are back for a new adventure.

Each episode has two 11-minute stories that dish out Bible-centered values like telling the truth, trusting God, and the value of friendship. Each episode also features an original funny song for the kids.

“We developed ‘VeggieTales in the City’ with our current fans in mind and we hope the new series will also excite and endear a new group of VeggieTaleenthusiasts,” said Leslie Ferrell, General Manager of Big Idea Entertainment. “We hope everyone joins Bob, Larry, Petunia Rhubarb, Junior, and the rest of the Veggie bunch in their new ‘VeggieTales in the City’ episodes!”

There was a time in the 90s where you couldn’t make it out of a church with seeing VeggieTales playing in the nursery or Sunday School. The Big Ideas company has been serving up their daily serving of “Veggies” since 1993. VeggieTales has sold over 75 million videos, 13 million books and more than seven million CDs.
