Royce Lovett Talks Motown Signing and Influences

Royce Lovett spoke to Rapzilla at signing to Motown and what Christian hip-hop influenced him while at SXSW.

He said while wrapping up a tour in Europe, he asked to play a church show when he got home. After taking the gig, he met someone who said they could help him become more than an indie artist.

“I prayed about it and sought counsel,” Lovett said. Then after seven months he decided he would sign with Motown.
