National Pizza Day: Artists Share Their Favorite Slices

Today is National Pizza Day! Why is this important to us you ask? Well, Rapzilla was curious to see what kind of pizza the beloved rap artists we cover like. So whether you are from New York and call it a pie, or anywhere else where it is just good ole’ pizza, take a look at what some of your favorites enjoy eating and let us know what you like!

Thi’sl

It seems Thi’sl was on the same page as Rapzilla. He didn’t tell us his favorite slice but gave a shout out to his favorite spot.
“Literally ordering pizza now! IMO’s is my favorite.”

Dee-1

“Italian Sausage & Pineapple”

Canon

Some Chi-town excitement from Canon.
“I love Lou Malnati’s pizza and Giordano’s pepperoni pizza in Chicago HANDS DOWN! Deep Dish pizza son!!!”

Eshon Burgundy

“Chicken, pineapple and ricotta”

Social Club

Fernie of Social Club got a little mixed up over his love for food but he righted the ship by hitting us with two good spots.
“I love a nice Anthony’s coal Fire Sicilian Pizza with ground beef and ricotta cheese it’s in FT. Lauderdale come on down you’ll love it….” he said. “Actually it’s umbertos .. Lol I love Anthony’s wings … But the pizza is ground beef with ricotta Sicilian.”

Joey Jewish

This sounds incredible…
“fav slice… Garlic parm sauce topped with cheesesteak.”

Derek Minor

Another CHH endorsement for IMO’s.
“Imos classic sausage in STL”

Playdough

We hope playdough didn’t feel violated by our question but he shared none the less.
“I like a NY style with goat cheese and spinach. By the way, this feels way personal.”

Dre Murray

“Mushroom, Spinach, and Black Olive!”

Butta P.

Butta P. keeps it fancy. “Lobster Pizza. I keep it bougie.”

HillaryJane

Simple, yet not
“Supreeeeeeeme! Make sure to add all the e’s!”

Special thanks to all the artists who helped out on this! And again we ask, what is your favorite pizza or slice? Also, is it a pizza pie, or just a pizza?
