Canton Jones God City USA Tops iTunes Christian and Gospel Charts

Canton Jones released his first solo album 20 Years 3 Months 12 Days back in 2002, and has since then received recognition within Christian, Gospel, and mainstream circles, climbing Billboard music charts and receiving multiple awards and accolades.

Canton’s latest studio release, entitled God City, USA, released July 29th and climbed all the way to the top, claiming the number 1 spot on the iTunes Christian and Gospel charts.

Jones’ 4th studio album has risen above Hillsong Young, Free’s We Are Young and Free and Bethel Music’s You Make Me Brave on the iTunes Christian and Gospel charts.

The 17-track album includes a multitude of guest performances, with a total of 7 tracks including features from other artists. Darlene McCoy, featured on the song “More of You” has been nominated for multiple Dove Awards. Other notable features on God City, USA include Isaac Carree on the song “Like You”, who has also been nominated for several Stellar, and Dove Awards.

God City USA follows the highly acclaimed mixtape Lust, Drugs & Gospel. Released in February of this year Lust, Drugs & Gospel received massive praise claiming over 20,000 downloads since its release.
