737 Reverts Name To Roy Tosh

After a recent Saints Tour in Tampa, Florida, Jeff McIntosh, an artist formerly known as 737, sat down with Benjah and Andy Mineo for a conversation that would end in the final name change of his hip-hop artist career. Benjah, who Jeff McIntosh had recently connected with by joining his artist development group, had recommended a name change as part of the re-branding process, and with the help and advice of fellow artist Andy Mineo, “Roy Tosh” was born. With “Roy” being Jeff’s grandfather’s name, as well as his middle name, and “Tosh” being his dad’s nickname, Jeff explains that, “It just felt right. It’s honoring to my family and in a sense carrying on their legacy. Not to mention, it’s completely unique from a branding standpoint.”

Fans have much to look forward to with this new mixture, as mentor Benjah played a major role in challenging Roy Tosh to study the current culture in order to have maximum effect with his music. He also helped him develop a melodic side to his brand, stretching him beyond being just a rapper. Roy Tosh, formally known as 737, is set to release a free mixtape soon called “The Revert.”
