Andy Mineo ‘Heroes For Sale’ Debuts #11 on Billboard 200

Last week we reported that ‘Heroes For Sale’ sold over 27,000 copies and shattered the record for the biggest first week debut album in Christian Hip Hop History. The Billboard charts are in and New York native Andy Mineo has just debuted #11 on the Billboard 200, #4 Rap and #1 Christian/Gospel for his highly anticipated debut album ‘Heroes For Sale’. The project sold more than Lecrae’s ‘Rehab’ (25,864) and had the second best first week for a Christian Hip Hop album in general right after Lecrae’s ‘Gravity’.

Also, last week the lower case emcee Shai Linne’s newest album ‘Lyrical Theology Part 1: Theology’ landed at #12 on the Billboard Top Rap Albums. Lecrae recently got some recognition from Billboard; his project ‘Gravity’ was nominated for a 2013 Billboard Music Award for Top Christian Album.

Congratulations to Andy Mineo for charting so well for a debut retail album.
